  3. Customers are solely responsible for securing their hosted data and maintaining backups. Qixla Cloud does not guarantee data preservation.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

  1. Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
  2. Upon suspension or termination of services—including for non-payment—customer data may be permanently deleted and is not recoverable.

5. Payments and Third-Party Processors

  1. Payments are processed through third-party providers such as PayPal, credit/debit card processors, and UPI platforms.
  2. Qixla Cloud does not store full payment card numbers or sensitive financial information.
  3. Third-party payment providers operate under their own privacy policies and security practices.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

  1. Qixla Cloud does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
  2. We may disclose personal information only when:
    • Required by law, regulation, or valid legal process under applicable Indian law
    • Necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Qixla Cloud or its users
  3. Qixla Cloud does not voluntarily disclose user data to law enforcement or government authorities.

7. Data Protection & International User Rights (GDPR-Light)

Qixla Cloud provides limited compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users located in the European Union and United Kingdom.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the basis of:

  • Contractual necessity (service delivery and account management)
  • Legitimate business interests (security, billing, abuse prevention)
  • Legal obligations

Rights of EU/UK Users

9. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring hosted content complies with applicable laws
  • Implementing appropriate security measures and backups

Qixla Cloud is not responsible for data loss caused by user actions, third-party software, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Qixla Cloud reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, India.
